FAQs
Please do get in touch if this page does not provide you with the information you might need. Clean Beauty & Co is more than happy to service your beauty needs.
DO YOU CHARGE A TRAVEL FEE?
A travel fee is added to all mobile services within the Waikato area. This will be calculated and added to your service quote for you.
DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO OR ARE YOU A MOBILE SERVICE?
Clean Beauty & Co is completely mobile for your convenience on your wedding day. A small studio is located in Hamilton that is open for special events makeup and trial consultations.
DO YOU RECOMMEND GETTING EYELASH EXTENSIONS BEFORE MY WEDDING DAY?
Getting eyelash extensions is a great idea if you would like them to last on your wedding day. Eyelashes add length to your existing lashes, but often not volume. Clean Beauty & Co’s package includes individual false cluster lashes and half or full strip lashes with makeup applications. These are weightless and add volume, length and balance the eyes without looking unnatural.
HOW IN ADVANCE DO I HAVE TO BOOK MY WEDDING DAY?
Preferably getting in touch within a 12-month time frame to ensure your date is booked in advance, especially during the peak summer season between November to April. It always pays to book in advance to avoid disappointment. However, there is no harm in inquiring about availability as there are cancellations.
WHAT BEAUTY PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
All makeup products are from Savvy Minerals by Young Living. These products are toxin-free, cruelty-free, plant-based and natural makeup products. Further information on these products can be found under the Savvy Minerals tab on this website (images of products used are available here).
DO I NEED A PRE-WEDDING TRIAL?
Most brides have a trial consultation, which is highly recommended. Your wedding day will be captured in photos forever so a bridal trial is our opportunity to ensure that we get an elegant, natural look just right for your wedding day.
DO YOU HAVE A BRIDAL TOUCH UP KIT?
All members of the bridal party will be provided with a complimentary touch-up kit. These include a sample pot of the lipstick used (with applicator), cotton buds, tissues and blotting paper to eliminate any possible shine. In saying that, the service is freelance, and can accommodate any changes necessary on the day, whether that means using a different shade of lipstick or your own beauty products.
HOW LONG DOES MAKEUP USUALLY TAKE ON THE DAY?
I like to allow one hour for a bride on her wedding day. This is a generous timeframe, but you are also gifting yourself some precious time to close your eyes before walking down the aisle. All other faces can take between 30-45 minutes.
WHAT DO I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY TRIAL OR BRIDAL CONSULTATION?
Please cleanse your face of all makeup residue, exfoliate and moisturise. If you use a moisturiser with an SPF, please do make sure it is no higher than SPF 15, as products with high SPF may cause problems with how your makeup is photographed on the day.
